Please scroll down for lots of useful information. There are links to industry and environmental journals, relevant dates in the environmental and renewable energy calendar, current debates, a solar PV Feed-in Tariff calculator, green products websites, campaign groups and more. Some of this might be a bit outdated given time considerations and the fact that I don't get paid for doing this, but I do try and keep it as fresh and new as I can so it's still worth checking out.

Clean energy deployment in developing countries: An Interview with Olaf Weber

Professor Olaf Weber and Chijioke Oki have recently released a paper entitled Renewable Energy Projects for Sustainable Development: Financing Options and Policy Alternatives. The full paper is available online and its intention is to help disseminate information regarding decentralised renewable energy, particularly with regard to the financing options and policy alternatives available to support decentralised renewable energy deployment in developing countries. In presenting its case, the paper incorporates case studies comparing and contrasting renewable energy policies in three countries: Ontario, Mexico and South Africa.

REM talked to Professor Weber to find out more about why he wrote the paper and what can be done to improve clean energy deployment in developing countries.
