Tesco drops carbon label pledge


  1. I noticed this in the news yesterday. Can't say I'm particularly surprised though, since a lot of people would likely be underinformed as to what the carbon info actually meant.
    It's s shame to see it go, though!

True, it would be interesting to find out just how many people actually read small print and logos on products, my guess is not many on the basis that there's probably so many on packaging now, all competing for customers attention when all the customer wants at the end of the day is to get the shopping done and get out of the supermarket as quickly as possible...
