Please scroll down for lots of useful information. There are links to industry and environmental journals, relevant dates in the environmental and renewable energy calendar, current debates, a solar PV Feed-in Tariff calculator, green products websites, campaign groups and more. Some of this might be a bit outdated given time considerations and the fact that I don't get paid for doing this, but I do try and keep it as fresh and new as I can so it's still worth checking out.

  1. The reduction in Feed in Tariffs is a hammer blow to the booming solar industry in the UK. It is unclear how this will affect the future of renewable energy and solar power adoption going forward but the decrease in incentive will certainly make the task a lot harder.

  2. Yes I agree, fortunately there are some installers out there who believe that it might not destroy the industry as popularly believed and who are arguing that it is still possible to obtain a decent return on investment. I've just put on this blog a calculator which is provided free of charge by the SolarGuide website which will enable me to see in greater detail how the financials work out.
